1. Who operates Rapid
Rapid is operated by Rapid Technology (Mauritius) Ltd, Wall St, Ebène, Plaines Wilhems 72201, Mauritius. In these terms, “Rapid”, “we” and “us” refer to that company. Contact us at [email protected].
By using Rapid or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you use a business account, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that business. Your statutory rights under applicable law remain in force.
2. What the platform does
Rapid helps customers discover goods and meals offered by participating merchants, request live-sale items, arrange pickup or delivery where available, and follow orders. Stores and restaurants are responsible for their listings, prices, availability, product information and fulfilment. Rapid provides the platform and coordinates delivery services where selected.
The identity of the seller, available fulfilment choices and applicable charges should be shown before an order is confirmed. A live-sale enquiry is not a confirmed purchase: the seller must confirm the item, quantity and price before payment.
3. Accounts and access
Provide accurate contact and delivery information, keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. A Store Account and a Restaurant Account require separate sign-ins and email addresses. Courier access to delivery work depends on application review and approval.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably needed to investigate fraud, account misuse, safety concerns or a breach of these terms. Financial holds and other risk actions follow the platform's recorded review processes.
4. Orders, prices and payment
Prices are displayed in Mauritian rupees. Before confirming an order, check its items, quantities, fees, delivery or pickup choice, and final total. Availability, delivery coverage and pickup windows depend on the selected location. A merchant may need to accept or prepare an order before it progresses.
When online payment is enabled, a payment provider processes the payment and Rapid records its confirmed outcome. A pending or uncertain provider response is not treated as a failed payment until it has been checked. A transaction clearly marked as sandbox or simulated is a test transaction: it does not transfer real funds or create a real delivery commitment.
5. Delivery, pickup and changes
Provide a reachable phone number and a usable address or map pin for delivery. Pickup orders use the location and collection instructions shown with the order. Delivery times and availability may change because of distance, weather, traffic, merchant preparation or courier availability; estimates are not guarantees.
Requests to change or cancel an order depend on its current state and what has already been prepared, collected or delivered. See Refunds & Cancellations for how to report an issue.
6. Refunds and disputes
Where an item cannot be supplied, an order fails or a refund is otherwise due, we assess the original payment and fulfilment records and process the eligible amount. Partial refunds may be appropriate when only part of an order is affected. Applicable consumer rights are not limited by these terms. Contact [email protected] with your order reference before sending sensitive information.
7. Merchant and courier responsibilities
Merchants must provide truthful listings, honour confirmed prices and availability, prepare orders safely, and follow the applicable pickup and handover steps. Couriers must provide accurate eligibility details, follow accepted assignments and record pickup and delivery accurately. Separate operating policies or agreements may apply when a business or courier service is activated.
8. Acceptable use and content
Do not use Rapid for unlawful goods or services, false orders, impersonation, fraud, harassment, malicious code or interference with other users. You remain responsible for content you submit, including listings and live-sale screenshots. You allow Rapid to store, process and display that content to the people who need it to provide the service; you keep any ownership rights you have in it.
The Rapid name, logo, interface, software and original site content are owned by Rapid Technology (Mauritius) Ltd or its licensors. You may use the service for its intended purpose, but may not copy its branding or content for another business without permission. © 2026 Rapid Technology (Mauritius) Ltd.
9. Availability and responsibility
We work to keep the platform available and information accurate, but outages, provider delays or incorrect merchant information can occur. We do not exclude any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. If something goes wrong, contact us so we can investigate the relevant order and evidence.
10. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version and its update date appear on this page; material changes will be communicated where appropriate. These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.
