If a store books a standalone courier delivery outside Rapid checkout, the store pays the quoted delivery price itself. Rapid adds no store delivery percentage. Any optional extra courier bonus is shown in the booking total.

Restaurants

If a restaurant causes a separate extra trip after a delivery was planned, it may have to fund that additional quoted trip. This is a delivery cost, not a percentage surcharge. Optional customer tips are handled separately from food sales.
Couriers

How delivery is paid
For a Store, Live Sale or Restaurant order placed on Rapid, the customer sees a delivery quote before paying. The quote uses the pickup location, destination, route distance, stops and parcel size. Pickup has no delivery charge. Courier earnings use the verified route; Rapid's 5% courier service fee comes from those earnings, not from an extra merchant delivery percentage.
Several ready orders from the same checkout can sometimes travel together. Each customer price remains the price accepted at checkout. If a combined route costs less than the delivery amounts already paid, Rapid retains the difference as a route margin; the courier's shown gross and 5% service fee follow the actual accepted route.
